Xeomin or Botox (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a neurotoxin injection used to temporarily relax muscles and smooth out wrinkles. It is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A, similar to Botox.  Also treats hyperhidrosis.

WHAT TO EXEPCT BEFORE
Your provider will guide you through patient education. Then together you will map out the treatment area for customized optimal results. Before pictures are needed for baseline prior in injections.

DURING
CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Baby Wipes then alcohol is used to clean the target area. Using a fine needle (Comfortox syringe), the provider will inject small amounts of Xeomin into targeted muscles. Most people describe the sensation as a tiny pinch.

AFTER
You may experience some mild side effects like redness or swelling at the injection sites, but these usually subside within a few hours. You'll be given aftercare instructions, which may include avoiding lying down or rubbing the treated area for a certain period to prevent the product from shifting.

"Tox parties," are social gathering where people receive treatments like Botox or Xeomin. We offer discounted dermaplanes for those guest who do not want injections.

These parties can be held in office or someone's home, typically involve a group of 4-10 guests. Tox parties can be a fun and social way to experience cosmetic treatments, offering a relaxed atmosphere and potentially lower costs per person compared to individual appointments.

FDA approved use of BOTOX or XEOMIN for hyperhidrosis can keep you dry and comfortable for 6 months or longer.

Injections require relatively little time ( both underarms in less than 20 minutes), and do not demand any restrictions in work or leisure activity (aside from refraining from intensive exercise or the use of a sauna on the day of the injections).

WHAT TO EXEPCT BEFORE
Prior to Botox/Xeomin injections in the underarms, it’s best not to shave that area. We prefer three to four days of hair growth prior to Botox/Xeomin injections.

You will have a consultation to discuss your goals, medical history, and any concerns with your provider.  A topical numbing agent will be applied for 10 minutes before injections begin.

DURING

During the procedure, a very fine needle (comfortox Syringe) is used to inject tiny amounts of Botox/Xeomin just under the skin intermittently throughout the area of excessive sweating (in a grid pattern, approximately every 1 to 2 centimeters.) Multiple injections are given based on your care provider's assessment of the area that needs to be treated.

To ease any potential discomfort, we may use one or more of a number of anesthetic techniques such as ice, or topical numbing cream.ts of Xeomin right under the skin.

Dermal fillers are injectable substances, also known as soft tissue fillers or injectable implants, that are used to add volume and improve the appearance of soft tissues.

DURING
A thin needle will be used to inject small amounts of filler beneath the skin. You may feel a small pinch or sting, but the procedure is generally considered comfortable. 

AFTER
Your provider will likely provide instructions on how to care for the treated area, such as avoiding touching or rubbing the area, and potentially using ice packs or elevating the area to reduce swelling. 

Five days after lip filler,swelling shouold be significanlty decreased, but some tenderness, lumpy feel and asymemetry may still be present. The initial swelling usually peaks within the first 24-48 hours and then begins to subside. By day five, the lips are starting to look more natural, and the initial puffiness is receding.
